Epiroc T45 speed rods
T45 speed rods from Epiroc T drill strings, for bench and production drilling with hole diameters of 66 to 152 mm.
Epiroc T drill strings are built for bench and production drilling. A drill string is the set of parts that carries the drilling force from the rig into the rock: the shank adapter, the drill rods and the drill bit. ED Machines Group supplies them in Malaysia as the authorised Epiroc distributor, with genuine parts and technical support from Subang Jaya, Selangor.
T45 is one of five sizes in the Epiroc T drill strings range (T35, T38, T45, T51 and Epiroc T60). T45 speed rods are used for bench and production drilling and are available as extension or drifting drill rods.
The T range is designed to drill more metres per day. Its tough, stable thread helps prevent breakage in the blast hole, and rods are easy to uncouple, so crews spend less time changing rods and shank adapters and can keep a leaner stock of spares. Epiroc also matches its tophammer drill bits to the T rods.
