Heavy equipment repair and maintenance in Malaysia

ED Machines Group repairs, maintains and rebuilds Epiroc drill rigs, loaders and hydraulic breakers at quarry and mining sites across Malaysia, and at our workshop in Subang Jaya, Selangor, using genuine Epiroc parts.

How maintenance support works

Getting a machine repaired by ED Machines Group takes four steps: you send us the fault, we diagnose and quote it, our technicians carry out the work with genuine parts, and we schedule the next service before we leave.

1. Send us the machine and the fault

WhatsApp the model, serial number, what it is doing and where the site is. Photos or a short video help more than a long description.

2. Diagnosis and a written quotation

We inspect the machine and give you a cost breakdown of parts and labour before any work starts. No work proceeds without your approval.

3. Repair to Epiroc procedures

Our trained technicians carry out the repair to Epiroc procedures, at your site or in our workshop, whichever gets the machine back into production faster.

4. Handover and next service scheduled

We confirm performance with you, document what was replaced, and book the next preventive service so the same failure does not come back.

Repair and maintenance for Epiroc equipment

ED Machines Group provides workshop overhauls, onsite field service and scheduled preventive maintenance contracts for quarry and mining fleets in Malaysia. A rig standing idle costs more per day than the repair that would have prevented it.

Workshop repairs

Component-level repairs at our Subang Jaya facility, for faults too involved to fix at your site. If the machine needs everything replaced at once rather than one component, see machine rebuilds below.

Onsite field service across Malaysia

Our technicians travel to your pit or quarry face for diagnostics, repairs and inspections, so production loses hours rather than days.

Preventive maintenance contracts

Scheduled service plans built around your operating hours and production calendar. Planned downtime is always cheaper than the unplanned kind.

Epiroc Midlife service programme

Machine rebuilds and overhauls in Malaysia

ED Machines Group rebuilds high-hour Epiroc drill rigs, loaders and hydraulic breakers in Malaysia through Epiroc's Midlife service programme: the machine is stripped down at our Subang Jaya workshop, worn components are replaced with genuine parts to the original specification or upgraded to the current one, and it returns to working productivity for a fraction of the cost of a new unit.

The machine you have is still the right machine

The frame and powerpack are sound, the rig already holds its penetration rate in your formation, and your operators are productive on it. What has run out is the wear components, not the machine.

A new machine will not arrive in time

Factory lead times on drill rigs run into months. If the contract starts before a new unit can land, rebuilding the machine you already have is the only option that keeps the schedule.

Capital is tight but production cannot stop

A rebuild costs a fraction of a new unit. At the assessment stage we will tell you honestly whether it is worth the money, before you spend any of it.

Genuine Epiroc parts, every time

Every part ED Machines Group installs is genuine Epiroc, ordered through the official supply chain and traceable. Counterfeit components fail early, damage what they are bolted to, and void the warranty on the whole machine.

Technicians who work on these machines every day

Our service engineers are trained on Epiroc equipment and work on it exclusively, from hydraulic circuits and rock drills to control systems. Specialising in one manufacturer is what makes a diagnosis fast.

Services FAQs

Common questions from quarry and mining operators across Malaysia.

How long does a typical repair take?

Standard workshop repairs are completed within 5-7 working days of the machine arriving at our facility. Emergency jobs are prioritised. We confirm the timeline at the diagnosis stage, before work begins.

Do you provide onsite service across Malaysia?

Yes. Our technical team travels to quarry and mine sites across Peninsular Malaysia, for inspections, preventive maintenance and complex repairs.

Is the repair work warranted?

Yes. Labour and genuine Epiroc parts installed by our technicians carry a warranty. Terms depend on the component and service type, and are stated in your quotation.

What does a machine rebuild actually cover?

ED Machines Group assesses and quotes the machine first, then strips it down so every component is measured rather than guessed at, rebuilds with genuine Epiroc parts, tests under load, and hands the machine over with a written record of what was replaced.

How do I schedule preventive maintenance?

WhatsApp us with your fleet list and operating hours. We propose a service plan and confirm dates, typically booked quarterly or against your production calendar.

Can you service non-Epiroc equipment?

Our expertise is Epiroc machines, rock drills and breakers. For mixed fleets, send us the make and model and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right team for that job.

What does it cost?

Cost depends on the machine, the fault and whether the work is onsite or in the workshop. ED Machines Group quotes parts and labour separately after diagnosis, so you can see exactly what you are paying for before approving the job.

Get your machine back into production
