FlexiROC T40
Tophammer surface drill rig for construction and medium-size quarrying, drilling 64 to 127 mm holes to a depth of 28 m.
The Epiroc FlexiROC T40 is a flexible tophammer surface drill rig, designed for demanding construction jobs and also well suited to medium-size quarrying. Compared with the FlexiROC T35, it covers a wider range of hole sizes, from 64 up to 127 mm. ED Machines Group supplies it in Malaysia as the authorised Epiroc distributor, with genuine parts and technical support from Subang Jaya, Selangor.
It stays productive even on the roughest terrain, thanks to its long boom reach, a low centre of gravity and a hydraulic support leg that can be used while the rig is moving (tramming).
The rig uses rock drills from Epiroc's proven COP series, and its cylinder-operated feed system helps get the most out of the rock drill while making the drilling tools last longer.

FlexiROC T40 or FlexiROC T35?
Both rigs have a 168 kW engine, a cabin and a maximum hole depth of 28 m. The FlexiROC T40 drills holes from 64 to 127 mm and has a higher air capacity, 149 l/s compared with 127 l/s. The FlexiROC T35 drills holes from 64 to 115 mm and can also take the COP SC19 rock drill.
